Royal Banks of Missouri is Reinvesting in University City, Moving Corporate Headquarters to Corner of Olive and McKnight

St. Louis-owned bank is staying in its hometown of University City; opens new branch at 8550 Olive Blvd. in September 2025

ST. LOUIS, MO, August 19, 2025: Royal Banks of Missouri is renewing its presence in its hometown of University City, Missouri. In September, the locally owned and operated Bank will relocate its headquarters to a brand-new, convenient location in the city’s third ward – the vibrant community in which it was founded by a group of local businessmen in 1964.

As it celebrates 60 years of serving the St. Louis region, Royal Banks of Missouri will transition from its current headquarters at 8021 Olive Blvd. to a newly constructed, full-service location at 8550 Olive Boulevard. The branch, which includes a client café and community room intended for public use, is located near the evolving business district in University City, anchored by the Costco development.  The office will formally open for business at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2. A celebratory grand opening ceremony and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be hosted at the branch from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14.

The Bank’s location at 7701 Delmar Blvd. in University City will remain open as a full-service branch.
