On October 14, 2025, Royal Banks of Missouri proudly hosted a grand opening ceremony at our new University City branch to reaffirm our commitment to serving the people in the community where our story began.

Royal Banks of Missouri is Reinvesting in University City, Moving Corporate Headquarters to Corner of Olive and McKnight

St. Louis-owned bank is staying in its hometown of University City; opens new branch at 8550 Olive Blvd. in September 2025

ST. LOUIS, MO, August 19, 2025: Royal Banks of Missouri is renewing its presence in its hometown of University City, Missouri. In September, the locally owned and operated Bank will relocate its headquarters to a brand-new, convenient location in the city’s third ward – the vibrant community in which it was founded by a group of local businessmen in 1964.

As it celebrates 60 years of serving the St. Louis region, Royal Banks of Missouri will transition from its current headquarters at 8021 Olive Blvd. to a newly constructed, full-service location at 8550 Olive Boulevard. The branch, which includes a client café and community room intended for public use, is located near the evolving business district in University City, anchored by the Costco development.

“I am excited to reinvest in the community we call home! As we begin our sixth decade in University City, we are proud to open a new and beautiful building to serve our clients,” said Mitch Baden, President and Chief Executive Officer at Royal Banks of Missouri. “Our new office reflects the level of commitment we make in all the communities we serve,” Baden added.

The Bank’s location at 7701 Delmar Blvd. in University City will remain open as a full-service branch.
